R-107 Series,
Developed in the late 1960’s the R-107 variants are still found in use today. The
earlier variants relied upon valve technology which was gradually replaced with transistor
technology as the models evolved. The latest and final type has a digital frequency
readout rather than the optical type found on the earlier models.
Power output is 1w and the sets cover the frequencies 20-54mhz in two continuous
tune bands.
The radio comes with both the folding Kulikov antenna, a segmented rod antenna and
a trailing long wire for maximum range.
